Go Baby! Giveaway

Flamingo Toes is hosting an Accuquilt Go! Baby giveaway.  http://www.flamingotoes.com/2011/10/accuquilt-go-baby-giveaway/   Go check out her site.  She has some great craft ideas.  I would really love to win this one.  I might purchase a Go! Baby anyway, but it sure would be nice to win!   If you haven't see a Go! Baby, you should really check it out.  I'm hoping to start doing more applique projects and this would really make it easy.

Coffee cup sleeve- EASY!

What better way to be green than to have a reusable coffee cup sleeve?  This pattern is very simple and you can make several and give to your friends. It's a great way to use that scrap yarn you have laying around. Go from this:  To this: Pattern - Small amount of worsted weight yarn.  I used cotton (Lily Sugar & Cream) because I think it will last longer and absorb the heat a little better. G size hook and needle for weaving in ends Abbreviations : ch = chain sc = single crochet sk = skip Round 1: Chain 32, join to make ring. Round 2: Ch 1, sc around, join. Round 3: Ch 1, sc in first sc, *ch1, sk1, sc* around, join. Round 4: Ch 2, *sc in ch1 space, ch1*, repeat around Repeat for 7 more rounds (for tall size - you can add more rows if you drink taller cups) Last round: Ch1, sc around.  Finish off and weave in ends. That's it!  Now go enjoy a cup of "eco smart" joe!
